How do I book a hunt?
Send an inquiry on this page. We’ll confirm dates and species, then send a booking invitation with a deposit invoice. The booking is held once the deposit clears.
What’s the deposit, and is it refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable and is applied to the package price. The amount depends on the hunt. We’ll spell it out in your invitation.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, with notice. Reschedule at least 90 days before your booked hunt date and your deposit moves with you to a new date within a year of the original booking, subject to availability.
When do you run hog hunts?
Hogs are on the ranch year-round. We run hog hunts for groups of 8 or more, on dates we schedule in advance. Send a note and we’ll share the next available windows.
Do you offer day hunts?
Sometimes. Most hunts are multi-day with lodging, but we’ll consider day hunts case by case. Send a note and we’ll see what fits.
What’s Included
What’s included in a hunt?
Lodging is four rooms, each with a queen bed and a bunk, two in the main lodge and two in the casitas about 25 yards away. An experienced guide for morning and evening hunts, exact rhythm depends on the hunt type and what you want to do. Field dressing, cleaning, and quartering of harvested animals. Meals and ice during your stay, bring your own beverages. No hidden fees.
What’s not included?
Not included: guide gratuity, additional animals beyond your package, wounded-game fees, taxidermy, and processing.
Licensing is set by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Please confirm current requirements and purchase any required license through Texas Parks & Wildlife before you arrive.
Can I bring a non-hunting guest?
Yes. Additional fees may apply, though not for lodging.
The Hunt Itself
What if I wound an animal but don’t recover it?
If there’s evidence of a hit, blood, hair, or bone, the full harvest fee is due regardless of whether the animal is recovered. We use tracking dogs and additional resources where it makes sense.
Do you process the meat?
Processing is available on-site. We keep a cooler and ice machine on-site for storage during your visit.
Do I need a Texas hunting license?
Licensing requirements are set by Texas Parks & Wildlife. Please check current rules and purchase any required license directly through Texas Parks & Wildlife.
What should I bring?
Pack for the field and the season:
- .30-caliber rifle and ammunition (recommended)
- Flashlight
- Headlamp
- Predator light for your gun
- Long pants for sitting in the stand
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Personal hygiene items
- Drinks other than water and tea
